Copy Matters

You can have the best product in the entire world. But if no one knows about it or you don’t market it the right way, then no one ever will.

To put it bluntly, words matter. And it’s not just about putting down any words on a piece of paper.

Translation: It’s not just what you say, but how you say it.

While you may not always recognize the power of good copy, you’ll almost certainly recognize copy that's bad. Bad copy stops you in your tracks. And not in a good way. (There are some people who think that any attention is good attention, not realizing that bad copy leaves a bad impression). Good copy, on the other-hand is powerful. Its words have the ability to move you without you even realizing it.

Why do you need a copywriter?

Ever try to explain in writing just what it is you do? In your mind it makes complete sense. You’re able to articulate it to yourself perfectly in a way that any reasonable person would understand. "If only"  they understood your product or service the way you do, then they would buy it in a heartbeat.

So you sit down and try to explain it in words. And something tricky happens. You write and write and yet the words don’t come through in the way you expect them to. For some reason the words don’t match the vision in your head. And try and try as you might, the harder you try to make it simple, the more complicated it gets.

That’s where I come in.  As a professional copywriter, I'm in the business of becoming an expert in your business. I’ve spent a decade working in advertising becoming an evangelist for my clients and helping them craft powerful messages to help sell their products and services.

In the end, my words become yours. And your words will help sell.

It's OK to fit in, but better to stand out.
